After graduating from UC Davis in June of 2013, I spent my summer at University of Wisconsin- Madison for their South Asia Summer Language Institute. I completed their intensive on first year Sanskrit, and spent the fall applying to graduate programs in Religious Studies with the guidance of my supportive undergraduate professors. I recently have been accepted to University of Washington- Seattle’s Jackson School of International Studies for their MA emphasizing in comparative religion, as well as University of Pennsylvania’s MA program in South Asia Studies. While my plans for next year are still uncertain, I am honored to have been chosen as a potential student by these amazing schools, and look forward to continuing my study of religion at the graduate level. I feel so lucky to have been a part of such a fantastic department at UC Davis that inspired me to pursue a career in this field.
